Biography
Geraldine Ramos, born and raised in San Francisco, is studying to become a lawyer practicing in Criminal Defense and Civil Litigation.
Geraldine attended San Francisco State University and graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Political Science. She continues to advance her career by attending Skyline College to receive a Paralegal Certification prior to starting law school.
As a first-generation college graduate, Geraldine is at the forefront within her entire family to earn an undergraduate degree as well as the first to pursue a law career. She comes from a working-class family that has dedicated their lives to ensuring that Geraldine succeeds in every way possible given the lack of resources available. Growing up, Geraldine realized that given the hardships her family experienced, she had the passion and desire to study law which would allow her to become a fierce advocate for clients in need.
Throughout Geraldine’s legal career, she has been able to participate in various opportunities within the San Francisco Superior Court. She worked hand in hand with a criminal law judge that handles misdemeanor cases where she was placed in a position to help the marginalized and disenfranchised. Not only has this opportunity motivated Geraldine more in her desire to become an attorney, but it has also instituted a burning desire to attain and fight for unequivocal impartiality, regardless of situation or status.
