Ms. Sally Chen was born in San Francisco, California and grew up in Sacramento.
Sally Chen is a first-generation college graduate with two bachelor’s degrees in Cognitive Science and Legal Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
While a student at U.C. Berkeley, Ms. Chen volunteered as a mentor to underprivileged students at a nearby middle school providing counseling and guidance to misguided youth.
Prior to joining Rencher Law Group, P.C. as a Legal Assistant, Ms. Chen interned at the U.C. Berkeley A.S.U.C. Legal Clinic where she provided legal research to students and the Berkeley community to help assist with many different legal issues. While a full-time student, Ms. Chen worked part time at a Chinese law firm based in Oakland where she was first introduced how inconvenient unexpected injuries from someone’s negligence can be.
Ms. Chen hopes to gain more legal experience before sitting for the Law School Admissions Test and applying for law schools. She hopes to make a difference in her community by helping those who are going through an unexpected and difficult time while providing much needed guidance through the complex American legal process.
